Motor Claims

In comprehensive insurance, cash compensation is unavailable unless the vehicle is considered to be a total loss. Otherwise, the vehicle is repaired at the company’s approved repair centers.

There is no objection, and if 5 years have passed since the date of the accident, the affected person must be directed to the committees for settling insurance disputes and violations to be accepted by them, in case there is an excuse that the committees may be convinced with for this delay.

The company has the right to request the estimation of sheik Al Maared If the damage amount reaches 50% of the vehicle’s market value.

For comprehensive insurance, supporting documents are requested from the customer at the time of claim submission.

In comprehensive insurance claims, the vehicle is inspected and the repair approval is issued within 5 working days from the date of receiving the repair quotation from the repair centers and the completion of all accident documents, provided that the vehicle is located in the repair center or inspected at the company’s branches.

No objection. However, the following documents must be provided:

  • A copy of the vehicle’s owner’s ID
  • A copy of the claimant’s ID
  • A copy of the vehicle owner’s IBAN showing the name.

Yes, this coverage compensates you for the loss or damage of your insured vehicle due to hail or floods caused by rain, with the exception of sand storms.

Yes, all vehicle windows are covered and an accident report must be provided

Yes, all regular drivers must be added as additional drivers to the vehicle

The compulsory or third-party insurance policy covers damages to individuals inside or outside the vehicle, with the exception of the driver, vehicles, and property of third parties. This policy does not cover damages to you, your vehicle, or any of your property.

It is an amount that is determined by the insured when issuing the insurance policy and must be paid in the event of any accident or risk covered within the limits of the insurance policy.

      Medical - Approvals

      All deliveries are considered an emergency, except the Elective cesarean section, which is elective and scheduled.

      60 minutes according to the Health Insurance Council. 

      Pregnancy and childbirth follow-up services are approved once during each trimester of pregnancy (three months).

      Where the pregnancy period, which is 9 months, is divided into 3 visits unless there is or there are medical reasons for additional visits or follow-up of the pregnancy according to the limits and exceptions of the policy.

      Congenital anomalies are not covered, except for cases that pose a current or future threat to the life of the insured.

      Pregnancy and childbirth expenses

      Up to a maximum of 15,000 Saudi riyals during the policy period

      Complications of childbirth are covered by the maximum benefit limit of this policy

      Dietary supplements are not covered according to the Health Insurance Council’s exclusions.

      Yes, in case of fractures, or if there is any medical condition.

      The 3 months’ medication supply is approved according to the type of disease and diagnosis by the attending physician, as the conditions apply to a specific list of diseases according to the Health Insurance Council and the conditions and duration of the policy. 

      Examples of chronic diseases according to the list provided by the Health Insurance Council:

      Asthma, thyroid gland, epilepsy, kidney failure, Hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, prostate problems, anemia

      Depending on medical justification by the attending physician

      Dialysis coverage is up to 100,000 Saudi riyals, depending on each customer’s insurance policy

      According to the contract concluded between the client and the insurance company, whether it is a suite or a private, or a shared room

          Medical - Cash Payments

          In the event of an emergency, the customer can submit a request for cash medical reimbursement, and compensation will be based on the prevailing prices and the prices of the customer’s category. For compensation, the customer must state the reason for paying in cash and not using the insurance coverage.

          Knowing that one of the cases that fall under the terms of reimbursement is emergency cases, provided that the location of the service provider is geographically the closest service provider to the patient’s aid. For non-emergency cases, prior approval from SAICO is required.

          • The customer must submit a request for medical cash reimbursement to the insurance company within a period not exceeding 30 working days from the date of the service.
          • Policyholders must provide the insurance company with documents supporting the claims requested by the company within a period not exceeding 30 working days from the date of the request.
          • The policyholder shall be compensated by the insurance company for the reimbursement expenses according to the prevailing rates for the category and network of the customer within a period not exceeding 15 working days from the date of completion of the reimbursement application.

              Underwriting and Policy Admin

              Yes, you can request to cancel the vehicle insurance in the following cases:

              1.When selling the vehicle

              The following supporting documents must be provided:

                • Contract of sale, Tamm report, or copy of the vehicle’s ID after transfer of ownership.
                • Certificate insurance
                • A copy of the IBAN
                • Filling in the cancellation form

              2. when there is another Insurance coverage on the vehicle

              The following supporting documents must be provided:

                • Certificate of insurance
                • A copy of the IBAN
                • Fill in the cancellation form
                • New insurance certificate

              3. Total loss and Vehicle ownership cancellation

                • Certificate of insurance
                • A copy of the IBAN,
                • Filling out the cancellation form
                • A print from the General Department of Traffic stating that the ownership of the vehicle has been canceled and that the car is being used as a spare part.

              Yes, you can do that by having comprehensive insurance and then canceling third-party insurance
